Day 7 we traveled to Bergambacht to tour a dairy and cheese plant. The 24 cow rotary was the first robotic we had visited that wasn't stationary. They milked 500 cows and processed all their own milk on site. They made cheese, yogurt, and ice cream.

| They greeted us with coffee and snacks in their old hay barn. The sides would crank up the poles to hold more hay. It was a neat building. The next stop was Delft Holland. I was excited to tour the plant and see where all the fabulous pottery was made.

Watching a Royal Delft Painter hand paint the vase. It takes eight years to get to the level of this painter. The paint is black when painted on and when fired it goes thru a chemical reaction turning into the renown blue color.
 
The hand painted pieces were a pretty penny but oh so beautiful!! Knowing the house spent on the hand painted work it was worth the amount they charged.
Upon the end of our tour we traveled to tour the old city of Delft
   
We found a farmers market that had a homemade Stroopwafels! They were huge and so good. We also were able to find Gluten free ones to bring home for Anneke.
