Bright and early we loaded up and traveled to Friesland to visit a flagship dairy for McDonald's. We were so excited to be traveling to this region as we didn't think we would have a chance to see it originally. We were amazed at the number of dairies along our 3 hour ride. The countryside was just beautiful and the time passed with ease.

| We got to the beautiful little town of Koudum. Most of the time our Charter bus was an oddity on the small streets that were mainly traveled by bicycle or small vehicles. |

| We arrived to the Stokman dairy to be welcomed by an amazing family and great Coffee. |

| They had 180 cows they were milking. Happy cows! |

The dairy felt the cows had a free roam to do as they wish. Robotics gave the cows the free choice of when they wanted to be milked.

The dairy was cutting edge on many aspects of their business and was a great dairy to represent for any company.

The Stokman family was so kind and great hosts for our group. They served up Broodjes and introduced us to the Dutch Kroket for a fabulous lunch.
With full bellies we loaded up the buses and headed to Zaandam to see the windmills. I was so excited. |
